All online courses are developed exclusively for the virtual classroom by experts engaged in the latest distance education technologies and all classes promote a high level of interaction between professors and students. Oregon State offers a complete online demo to help new students learn about their online platform and also offers a wide array of helpful services to online students. Some of these online services include remote access to the OSU Libraries, the Extended Campus Student Services Center, the OSU Computer Helpdesk, Career Services, Writing Help and Online Tutoring. At OSU you can earn a Bachelor's degree, a variety of Graduate Certificates or participate in a workforce/noncredit program to simply enhance your knowledge in skills. These degrees are offered in a variety of diverse fields including a large number that focus in areas of Environmental and Agricultural Science.
Oregon State is committed to helping those in need of financial assistance pay for an online education. They have just recently made available a need-based grant that is an option for student demonstrating financial need who are also taking a minimum of 3 credits through the Ecampus. Through this option students can receive up to $1,000 per term to help cover their Ecampus tuition and fees. Oregon State also participates in the Federal Financial Aid program which gives both undergraduate and graduate students access to a variety of loans and grants. Furthermore, there are a select number of scholarships available through some of the university's departments.
